Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies Neuronest uses, why we use them, and the controls available to you. For further questions, contact [email protected].

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, remember your preferences, and help site owners understand how their content is used.

Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access files stored on your device. They are read only by the website that placed them (or, in the case of third-party cookies, by the service that issued them).

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies (always active)

These cookies are necessary for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not collect information that could be used for marketing or tracking. Examples include cookies that maintain your session state and remember your cookie consent decision.

Analytics Cookies (optional)

These cookies help us understand how visitors navigate the site, which pages are most visited, and where users encounter difficulty. The data is aggregated and anonymised. We use this to improve course content and the overall site experience. If you disable these, we will no longer collect this data from your device.

Marketing Cookies (optional)

These cookies may be set by third-party advertising services to build a profile of your interests and show relevant advertisements elsewhere. We do not currently run paid advertising campaigns but may do so in future. At present, marketing cookies are not placed on the site.

Preference Cookies (optional)

These cookies remember settings and choices you have made on the site, such as language or display preferences, so you do not need to re-enter them on your next visit.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Where analytics or other third-party services are enabled, the following types of third-party cookies may be placed:

  • Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) — aggregate, anonymised usage statistics.
  • Hosting infrastructure — session and security cookies issued by the server environment.

Third-party cookies are governed by the respective provider's own privacy and cookie policies. Neuronest does not control third-party cookie behaviour.

4. Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies — exist only during a single browser session and are deleted when you close the browser. Used for session state and security.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device after the browser is closed. The cookie storing your consent preference persists for 12 months. Analytics cookies typically expire after 13–26 months depending on the provider.

5. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the controls below to manage which optional cookies Neuronest may place on your device. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to work.

7. Your Rights

  • Right to withdraw consent: You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the controls above. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Right to information: You have the right to ask what cookies are placed on your device by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Effect of disabling cookies: Disabling analytics, marketing, or preference cookies will not prevent you from accessing course content. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the site from functioning correctly.
